Hoffmann La Roche, we are looking for a   In vivo Laborant (m/w/d)   BackgroundThis position is located in In Vivo Sciences, a Chapter within Pharmaceutical Sciences (PS), where the Housing and Care of Laboratory Animals and the state-of-the-art conduct of animal experiments in Pharmacology, PK/PD, and Toxicology are primary focuses. In Vivo Sciences is responsible for the Animal Facility in pRED and is thus a key business enabler for all in vivo studies. The perfect candidate (m/w/d): has completed vocational training in a biological or chemical laboratory field or brings substantial hands-on experience working with laboratory animals, along with at least two years of professional experience as a lab technician, veterinary nurse, animal technician, or in a comparable role. Ideally, they have completed a laboratory animal science course and are fluent in both English and German.   Work hours Standard 40h / Week (maybe working on weekends)   Task and Responsibilities Conducting of in vivo studies for rodents and rabbits in the area of toxicology and pharmacokinetic. The tasks include: clinical scoring, taking blood, ability to dose by various routes (IP, IV, PO, Subcutaneous), basic necropsy skills, Collect, document, review and varify data on forms or in electronic data capture systems, Participate as a team member study activities at the weekend on a rotational basis, Optional: Conduct or assist during surgical procedures including anesthesia and provide pre- and postoperative care according to best veterinary and animal welfare standards   Qualifications You have completed training as an in vivo associate, biology laboratory assistant, or have relevant experience in laboratory work with laboratory animals (*****), Work experience minimum 2 years in the field of animal laboratory work (rats and mice) (*****), An accredited animal course (LTK or FELASA) is mandatory (*****), Languages: Fluent in English   Nice to haves -   Are you interested?
