We are currently seeking a passionate, proactive, and eager-to-learn individual to fill the role of Junior System Support Engineer within the R&D Service chapter, located in Rotkreuz (CH). In this junior role, you will be trained and mentored to become a key technical contributor within a crossfunctional environment. You will support the team in maintaining and troubleshooting Roche Diagnostic Systems throughout their entire lifecycle, from development to post-launch. The Perfect Candidate (m/f/d): holds a technical vocational training degree or an academic degree (e.g., in Mechatronics, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering) and brings 1–3 years of solid hands-on experience as a service technician, automotive mechanic, or precision mechanic. Moreover the candidate possesses strong technical hard skills in logical thinking and systematic troubleshooting across complex hardware, software, and IT configurations. This technical profile is completed by fluency in both German and English, alongside the capability to independently install, maintain, and repair advanced diagnostic systems.   Work hours Standard / 40 hour week   Tasks Serve as a technical expert and primary point of contact for internal customers regarding all service aspects, Install Roche Diagnostics systems (hardware and software) according to installation manuals in the Roche Diagnostics Knowledge (RDK) database, Perform system qualifications (IQ/OQ), execute preventive maintenance, and conduct autonomous troubleshooting, and repair of hardware and software issues, Manage the deployment and servicing of various systems and their specific configurations, Ensure comprehensive documentation in accordance with established quality standards, Provide technical support for global development trials   Qualifications An academic degree in technical engineering (e.g., Medical Devices, Electronics/Automation, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering) or completed technical vocational training (e.g. mechatronic, electronics mechanic technician) (*****), 1-3 years of work experience during vocational training for example as an automotive mechanic, service technician or precision mechanic (*****), Fluent in English and German, Strong logical thinking and a talent for troubleshooting technical problems across diagnostic hardware, software, or IT setups (***), A proactive, service-oriented team player with a strong desire to learn, ask questions, and develop handson skills in servicing diagnostic instruments (***)   Nice to haves High willingness to learn and work within a highly regulated industry and in laboratories with biosafety levels S1 and S2 (training will be provided)   Are you interested?
