Performance based Learning Consultant



The Roche Academy team has the mission to drive impactful competitive marketing and training programs
to strengthen commercial excellence across Diagnostics. The Performance based Learning Consultant works
across the Roche Academy chapter and supports the different sub-chapters especially the delivery leads to
define the capabilities learning path, support curriculum design, support gap and needs analysis (linking
learning and business needs), and recommends future capabilities.


Task and Responsibilites:

Supports the Delivery Leads in defining, creating, managing and maintaining learning strategies that enhance
commercial excellence capabilities, based on performance metrics Serves as a performance consultant to assess critical business needs and recommend learning solutions to address capability & skills gaps Partners with Delivery Leads and stakeholders to scope and prioritize the portfolio of learning solutions and determine integration points across function, site or geography related to the learning and performance improvement needs Partners with Delivery leads and stakeholders to develop and influence strategies for identifying and prioritizing, near and long term performance improvement and employee capability & skills plans. Applies
ROI to learning solutions when possible Stays abreast of technologies and the breadth of learning solutions to drive and influence business partners to adopt the most effective learning methods, solutions and outcomes Appropriately challenges business leadership regarding ways to use performance-based learning as a strategic lever for their organization.


You must have these qualifications

  • University degree in Adult Learning, Human Resources, Performance Technology or related
    experience/education (*****)
  • Min. 5 years of experience in proactive strategic learning, development and performance consulting or
    related field (no graduates) (*****)
  • Experience in instructional design, analysis, evaluation, implementation and administration
  • Demonstrated project management and leadership skills as well as strategic thinking and strong
    organizational skills (****)
  • Experience in building and maintaining effective relationships at a variety of leadership levels and with
    collaborator/supplier organizations (***)
  • Native level or equivalent level of English (C2) is a must; Chinese, Spanish and/or German is a plus (***)


Nice to haves:

  • Knowledge of systems used to execute common business and L&D processes is a plus (Articulate 360,
    Storyline, Captivate)
  • Multi-cultural mindset with the ability to navigate complex, matrix-based organizations
  • Motivational and team-building skills
  • Flexibility and creativity


Work hours:

  • Flexible within standard working hours
